Another Christmas, another year gone bye...but oh, what a year. Despite the fact that we are in the midst of the worst recessions in my lifetime, I still can't help but look favorably upon 2008. In large part, this is due to the campaign and victory of Barack Obama. Not simply him being President, but also the many friends gained over the course of the campaign, and the friendships that were enhanced through the process.

Personally, I'm ending the year on a bit of an upswing, so hopefully 2009 will be even better, if perhaps a lot different given the lack of an all-consuming campaign to focus on. I hope everyone else out there is feeling the same.
